Principles of Design
1. Using the information you gathered on "principles of design".
a) Explain in words why a print ad for a home electronics store or party supply store would differ in style than an ad for a classical music store or a massage/relaxation clinic.
b) What type of colours would work best for each ad?
c) How would the composition and layout differ? Why?
d) What differences would you expect in Typography?
2. Could some or all of these principles be ignored? What benefit would that serve?
3. Design the two ads as discussed above, showing the extremes of what is possible with just differing the principles of design for each ad. (make sure they do not match in any one category).
Also pay close attention to what types of words and phrases seem "appropriate" when designing these ads.
