Yes & No.

How do I get a copy of QBasic?


QuickBasic comes with the old MSDOS, and Windows 9x
On the WIN98 CD look in  /tools/oldmsdos  for qbasic.exe & qbasic.hlp


You can Download QBASIC 1.1 from Microsoft  you need the two files above.

How do I get a copy of VisualBasic?

Ask your teacher for the student CD ROM.
There are however some issues with running it on XP

My student copy of Pascal gives me a 'divide by zero' error, what do I do?

You need to download the patch  pb7patch.zip and install it.
